Bed & Breakfast “De Luchtreiziger” (“The Airtraveller”)
is located in an old sexton’s residence in Adegem on the axis Maldegem
Eeklo in the middle of the so called region “Meetjesland”,
East-Flanders, just in between Bruges and Ghent, 15 miles from the
Belgian coast.There is no pigeon flyers’ pub anymore as there used to be
one opposite the house, and now refers to a stylish B&B able to
accomodate up to six guests in three cosy, non-smoking rooms. Two
doubles with en suite bathroom and one three-quarter bedroom with
washbasin – the latter only available in combination with one of the
other rooms.
The area offers a wide variety of opportunities for relaxing, has
signposted cycling trails and a choice of fine countryside or forest
walks. Thanks to its proximity to both Bruges and Ghent, city trips to
these historic and charming cities are only half an hour away.Business
travellers in the area of Eeklo and Maldegem also find here a
conveniently located B&B and an excellent place to relax and feel
comfortable.
